I SO want to do that now!! But we are currently renting our house, so it will have to wait for us, too - not sure if it falls into the category of "neutral" colors that our landlord has given us permission to paint....
Yes, we are allowed - the house we are renting is over 100 years old, so it's a little different situation than an apartment. I can't wait until I own a house again - I did so many fun things the last time around [painted my dining room to resemble a coffee shop; deco-podeged the door in my guest room with magazine pictures; etc]....
Oh I bet it looked so awesome! It will be so much fun decorating our house some day. But I'm patient and doing what I can with what we have. I think it makes you more creative when you have boundaries :)
